Fashion Communication and Image
The course imparts key skills in fashion writing, PR and media planning, fashion production management, business planning, scheduling, deadlines and advertising budgets. Cultural studies in the history of art, design, clothing and fashion culture provide the necessary skills to make critical assessments. Through style analysis, form, reality and energy are brought into the visual space — the material “reality” of image creation.
Students will also learn how to create an instantly identifiable and recognisable style to produce and develop live photographs, manage the team involved in the shooting process, image editing, set construction, still life and moving images, lighting, direction and selection of makeup, hair and accessories. They are encouraged to decode stereotypes and think about image positioning from a different perspective in order to discover their own unique personal style.

Istituto Marangoni’s one-year programme is designed for international students who want to spend a year at Istituto Marangoni alongside students from around the world. You will study the first year of the bachelor’s programme and, upon successful completion of the courses, receive a certificate from Istituto Marangoni. You can also choose to continue your studies.
