  • Develop a thorough understanding of the design process and design methods, encompassing everything from research through concept and validation to the final product, including sketching, model-making, prototyping, and presentation.
  • Acquire expertise in selecting and working with appropriate materials and techniques to meet project objectives.
  • Develop the ability to analyse and understand industry trends, technological advances, and societal changes to inform design decisions and guide the creative process.

Domus Academy’s one-year programme is designed for international students who want to spend a year on campus in Milan together with students from around the world. You study the first year of the bachelor’s programme and, upon completing the courses, receive a certificate. You can also choose to continue your studies.

This track focuses on developing products and solutions that create value for both users and companies. It emphasises the importance of understanding and adapting to what constitutes value in the market, and prioritising qualitative improvements over quantitative ones. Upon completing the programme, students will be able to create products that generate mutual value and expectations between shareholders, stakeholders, and customers.

UX Design

Here, students delve into the design of digital products and services. By understanding user and business needs, participants learn to leverage existing and new digital technologies to create innovative solutions that enhance user experiences. Upon completing the programme, students will be able to create digital products, services, and user experiences across different system levels.
