Art Direction for Beauty & Fashion
In partnership with L’Oréal
A three-year programme at Istituto Marangoni in Milan for those who want to work creatively at the intersection of beauty, fashion, and visual communication.
The programme provides both artistic and technical skills in hairstyling, make-up, and art direction — with a strong focus on how beauty functions as a cultural and visual language within fashion, luxury brands, and media. You learn to develop concepts, build narratives, and translate them into professional productions — from editorial projects and campaigns to digital platforms and brand experiences. An important part of the programme also addresses how AI and digital technology are transforming and enriching creative work in the beauty industry.

The programme’s unique strength lies in its partnerships. L’Oréal Professionnel contributes deep industry knowledge in professional hair care and salon culture, while L’Oréal Luxe gives students insight into the world of luxury beauty — from visual identity to brand storytelling.
