Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising
The programme is workshop-based, supported by seminars, lectures, tutoring and fieldwork. Industry professionals, the programme leader and project leaders will guide you through individual coaching and mentorship. The combination of accredited courses and real-world professional projects gives students the opportunity to build on their academic foundation while simultaneously gaining valuable work experience that is directly applicable to their future careers.
This programme can be studied as a Master’s over 11 months, or as a dual Master’s over 14 months.
The Master’s programme in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising combines the roles of visual merchandiser and fashion stylist to create a new professional profile: the visual brand communicator within the fashion industry, whose scope encompasses lookbooks, advertising campaigns, editorial features, websites, social media and multi-sensory retail concepts.
You will learn how to convey the brand values and identity of a fashion collection through powerful image-based storytelling and visual merchandising strategies for window and in-store displays.
