Fashion and Costume Design
NABA’s two-year Master’s programme in Fashion and Costume Design equips students with the skills they need to manage experimental, workshop-based and cultural design projects related to fashion and costume design.
During the two years at NABA, students will learn about the different aspects of the fashion and costume world, as well as how to apply that knowledge to the creation of a clothing collection and from there to haute couture, stage costumes and costume design.
Focus
- Analysing practical, theoretical and artistic information related to fashion and costume design
- Using complex methods to create clear solutions and versatile projects for designing clothing collections with a particular focus on haute couture and performing arts costumes
- Developing a high level of professionalism, supported by strong entrepreneurial skills, creativity, motivation, independence and communication abilities
