France is world-renowned for its excellence in fashion, and Paris is considered the fashion capital of the world. Studying here opens up opportunities for aspiring designers, stylists and pattern makers. French fashion schools are known for their expertise and practical teaching methods.
At Atelier Chardon Savard’s campus in central Paris, you create your own garments in two fully equipped sewing ateliers. These ateliers are equipped with industrial sewing machines, pressing equipment, overlock machines, mannequins and cutting tables. A dedicated knitting atelier with double electronic knitting machines and a wide range of yarns gives you the opportunity to experiment with different knitting techniques.
The school’s bachelor’s and master’s programs in Paris cover more than just design and pattern making: they also include marketing, management, sustainable textile design and 3D modelling.
Most courses include internships, giving you valuable practical experience during your studies. The school has a strong focus on professional integration, with many internship opportunities and industry collaborations, including participation in haute couture fashion shows.
