International Academy of Art and Design

NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, is an international design school offering a wide range of creative programs in design, art, fashion, and media.

With campuses in Milan, Rome and London, students can spend time in some of Europe’s most creative cities. The Milan campus is situated in the lively Navigli district, whilst the Rome campus is located in Ostiense, a former industrial area that has become a hub for contemporary art and culture. The London campus is situated in Here East, an award-winning centre for innovation in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

With over 6,000 students, of which 35% are international, NABA offers a multicultural and inspiring environment where creative talents from around the world come together.

NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, was founded in 1980 and is Italy’s largest private art academy with campuses in Milan and Rome. Since 1981, the school has been legally recognised by the higher education system for art and music (AFAM, Alta Formazione Artistica e Musicale), regulated by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR). Over the years, NABA has received numerous awards and accolades, as well as accreditations and international recognition.

Programmes

Graphic Design & Art Direction

Students learn to manage projects using techniques and languages of graphic design, advertising, digital publishing, digital media, 3D and motion graphics, delivering real and effective projects for companies and organisations.

Digital and Live Performance

This is a highly specialized interdisciplinary course focusing on various areas, including contemporary dramaturgy, body and movement, new technology, interaction and sound design.

Creative Media Production

This two-year master’s program explores the complexity of a world managed and interpreted by analog and digital tools, such as video cameras, microphones, as well as large datasets and machine learning.

Screenwriting for Series

Through an intensive program that combines theories, methods and design practice with interdisciplinary skills in analysis and cultural interpretation of contemporary expressions, this master’s degree aims to shape professional screenwriters for audiovisual media.

Digital Fashion Marketing

This one-year Master’s programme is an intensive course that analyses the evolution of the fashion industry in terms of marketing, communication and culture. The aim is to prepare students for careers in digital marketing and to create specific content and strategies for fashion and lifestyle brands.

Fashion & Costume Design

NABA’s two-year Master’s programme in Fashion and Costume Design equips students with the skills they need to manage experimental, workshop-based and cultural design projects related to fashion and costume design.
