Guaranteed and paid internship
The program suits both those who want to step into the industry and those who already have some experience and want to strengthen their profile with international education and work experience.
A central part of the program is the guaranteed and paid internship in Switzerland (4–6 months). During the internship, you will work in professional hotel or service operations and gain valuable experience in daily operations, guest relations, and teamwork in an international environment.
What you will learn during the year
The program gives you a broad introduction to the hotel and service industry, with a focus on both business understanding and operational competence.
You will study, among other things:
- The fundamentals of hotel management – organization, operations, and service quality
- Business communication and marketing within hotels and tourism
- Business administration and business models in service companies
- Operations and daily management – front office, housekeeping, and F&B
- Leadership and collaboration in international teams
Teaching is combined with practical exercises, case studies, and real-world simulations that prepare you for working in a professional environment.

- Studies in business communication, marketing, organization, and economics
- Introduction to the structure and operations of the hotel and tourism industry
- Practical training in front office, beverage management, and housekeeping

- Internship: 4–6 months in Switzerland (guaranteed and paid, approx. 30,000 SEK/month)

- Minimum 17 years old
- Upper secondary school diploma or equivalent
- English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.0
For those who do not meet the language requirements, an intensive English course is offered before the program starts.
